April 25, 2025
A comparison of federal party platforms and candidate interviews conducted by Electric Mobility Canada ahead of the 2025 federal election, highlighting each party’s commitments to electric mobility.
Ahead of the 2025 federal election, scheduled for Monday, April 28, Electric Mobility Canada undertook a comprehensive review of federal party platforms to assess their commitments to electric mobility. As part of this effort, EMC reached out to all major political parties with questions about the future of the Canadian EV industry.
Our comparison is based on official party platforms as well as responses gathered through pre-election interviews with candidates from the Green Party, the Bloc Québécois, and the NDP. The Liberal or Conservative Parties did not respond to EMC’s interview request.
