Electric Mobility Canada (EMC) congratulates Lorne Doerkson and the Conservative Party of British Columbia on their election victory. We look forward to working with Premier-designate Doerkson and his government to advance transportation electrification and strengthen Canada’s electric mobility sector.

British Columbia has an important role to play in building a more affordable, competitive and sustainable transportation system. As the new government establishes its priorities, EMC encourages continued collaboration with industry to support investment in electric vehicle charging infrastructure, fleet electrification and policies that give businesses and consumers confidence in the transition to electric transportation.

A strong and predictable policy environment can attract private investment, support economic growth and job creation, and strengthen Canada’s position in the rapidly evolving global electric mobility market.

EMC looks forward to engaging with Premier-designate Doerkson and his government to identify practical, cost-effective solutions that support British Columbians, improve transportation options and advance the province’s economic objectives.
