According to new data released by S&P Global Mobility, ZEV sales are continuing to increase across Canada.

Highlights from their Q4 2023 report include:

  • 2023 ZEV sales at 11.7% compared to 8.9% in 2022
  • Q4 2023 ZEV sales at 13.2% compared to Q4 2022 ZEV sales at 10.2%
  • 48.9% increase in ZEV volume in 2023 from 2022

If ZEV sales continue to increase by only 25% per year (instead of the 30% growth from 2022 to 2023) for 2024, 2025 and 2026, Canada will surpass its 20% ZEV sales target for 2026.
