Webinar co-hosted by the UK Department for Business and Trade (DBT) and Electric Mobility Canada (EMC), featuring a panel discussion with distinguished speakers delving into the burgeoning landscape of electric vehicle (EV) charging infrastructure in Canada. Key discussion points include federal and provincial initiatives and policies driving EV adoption and infrastructure development, insights into the current state of EV charging in Canada, identification of trade opportunities within the sector, and an examination of the role of the UK supply chain in supporting Canada's transition to zero-emission vehicles as well as opportunities for collaboration and investment.
Electric Truck Fleets: A Deep Dive with NACFE

In-depth workshop co-hosted by EMC and the North American Council for Freight Efficiency taking a deep dive into the promise and challenges of electric trucks. Organized as part of the Truck World show in Toronto, the workshop focused on the findings of Run on Less: Electric demonstrations, which featured Canadian equipment in Canadian applications. Topics covered included available grants and industry partners to help fleets electrify, infrastructure considerations including charging requirements, microgrids, and utility demands, tools and strategies to manage vehicle range, looking at regenerative braking and beyond, and ways to prepare technicians for electrified vehicles.
