This project was implemented between June 5^th, 2023 and March 31^st, 2025, in collaboration with the North American Council for Freight Efficiency (NACFE).

Through knowledge-sharing events and demonstrations, this project extended NACFE’s 2023 Run on Less – Electric DEPOT beyond its U.S. context to address the knowledge gaps among Canadians of zero-emission and low-emission options in the medium- and heavy-duty vehicles (MHDV) sector.

Three MHD electrification workshops were organized in Western, Central and Eastern Canada, in addition to several awareness activities. More than 200 industry stakeholders, fleet owners, fleet operators, and government delegates from across Canada attended conference sessions and participated in roundtable discussions, which informed the key learnings, insights and findings presented in the final report and video.
