Join Electric Mobility Canada and the North American Council for Freight Efficiency (NACFE) for an in-depth workshop that will dive into the promises and challenges of electric on-road freight transportation.

Learn about:

  •  The findings of Run-On-Less: Electric demonstrations, which featured Canadian equipment in Canadian applications.
  • Available grants and industry partners to help fleets electrify.
  • Infrastructure considerations including charging requirements, microgrids, and utility demands.
  • Tools and strategies to manage vehicle range, looking at regenerative braking and beyond.
  • Ways to prepare technicians for electrified vehicles.

The program will include a keynote speaker from NACFE, a panel on MHD Fleet Electrification and roundtable discussions on eight key topics:

  • Class 8 tractors
  • Medium-duty trucks & vans
  • EV performance (including cold weather)
  • Utilities & the grid
  • Financial incentives & environmental regulations
  • Charging systems
  • Regenerative braking & operational changes
  • Technician training

When: Thursday, March 6th, 2025 from 9:00am to 12:30pm PST (arrival at 8:30am)
