PURPOSE OF THE SCHOLARSHIP

The purpose of this scholarship is to support the next generation of the EV workforce by contributing toward tuition fees for individuals planning to enroll in an educational or training program related to the electrification industry.

ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA

Applicants must meet the following criteria:
1. Be a Canadian citizen or permanent resident;
2. Be admitted at the time of application to a trade school, college, post-secondary institution or recognized training provider in an EV-related program in British Columbia;
3. Have completed prior training in automotive systems and/or electrical fundamentals;
4. Demonstrate a strong interest in pursuing a career in the EV sector through professional experience and a personal statement.

$ 1,500

3* per year

FREQUENCY

Annual. The scholarships will be presented at EMC’s national conference (Recipients will be invited to accept the award during the event)

LEVEL

Equivalent to level 3 or 4 apprentices who meet the program’s entry requirements
