Laval extends transport electrification incentives

January 16, 2019 – Laval residents will be eligible again for a financial incentive from the City for the purchase of a 100% electric car or an electric bike. The City Board adopted bylaws that aim at renewing these projects.

Financial incentive for the purchase of an electric vehicle:

• Renewal of the $2000 incentive;
• Funds are available until March 31, 2019, or when all the allocated funding has been used, whichever comes first.

In 2018, 300 citizens have benefited from the electric car rebate, and 260 for electric bicycles.
