EMC President meets with Minister of Environment and Climate Change

On August 28, 2o19, President of EMC Brad J. Ryder was in Ottawa to meet with Honourable Catherine McKenna, Minister of Environment and Climate Change Canada, and Ottawa-Vanier MP and Co-Chair of the National Liberal Platform Committee, Mona Fortier (herself an EV driver) to discuss federal government programs to support.

Canada has seen a surge in EV sales as a result of recent federal incentives with EVs now accounting for 3.3% of all vehicle sales nationally.
