B.C. introduces new rebates for EV charging stations

On September 26, 2019, the government of British Columbia, in partnership with BC Hydro and FortisBC, launched the $5 million CleanBC-GoElectric EV Charger Rebate Program for home and workplace charging stations.

The program offers the following:

• A rebate of 50% off, up to $350/charger, for a Level 2 charging station in a single-family home, and for a limited-time an additional $350 rebate from BC Hydro for BC Hydro customers
• A rebate of 50% off, up to $2,000/charger, for a Level 2 charging station in a condo, apartment, or workplace, in addition to 5 hours of free support services from an EV Charging Station Advisor
