Infrastructure of the Future
Impact of Clusters of DC Fast-Charging Stations on the Distribution Grid in Ottawa
NRCan and Hydro Ottawa are collaborating in a study to investigate the impact of the increase of high-power DCFC stations on the distribution grid and establish Ottawa’s need for DCFCs at a range of typical locations. Hajo Ribberink, a recognized EV scientist and popularizer, will present results for various scenarios of EV uptake.

Supporting the Adoption of EVs in Ontario: the EVCO Program and the Climate Change Action Plan
Through the Electric Vehicle Chargers Ontario program, the Province is creating a network of public EV stations. This presentation will summarize the considerations that went into building the network, lessons learned in the process and how this work is shaping future plans for EV infrastructure.

Advancing EV Adoption in Public Fleets: a Case Study of 8 Public Fleets in California

FleetCarma conducted an EV Suitability Assessment program for eight public agency fleets in California. The aim of the program was to demonstrate the economic and environmental benefits and operational feasibility for integrating EVs. The results demonstrated that each fleet would save an average of $75,000 over the life of the vehicles.
