From 2009 eCAMION has been developing cutting-edge energy storage solutions, with safety being one of the main design features. eCAMION’s proprietary control systems developed in collaboration with academic leaders in the field allow to interface eCAMION’s energy storage with electric vehicle chargers and alternative energy sources like solar or wind. eCAMION has an excellent track record of delivering innovative future-oriented products. For example, in 2013 eCAMION deployed Canada’s first community energy storage (CES) system connected to electricity distribution system. The product was well received and is now deployed in several Canadian cities including Toronto, Ottawa, and Sudbury. Because of their unique characteristics, eCAMION’s battery systems are finding a use to facilitate electric vehicle fast charging stations. Based on this innovative approach, eCAMION will deploy more than one hundred EV fast chargers over the next two years.
Electric Mobility Canada
Electric Mobility Canada (EMC) is a national membership-based not-for-profit organization dedicated exclusively to the promotion of electric mobility. Our mission is to support the efforts of our members in driving the adoption of electric mobility technologies by Canadians as key means of achieving sustainability in transportation and to position Canada as a global leader in developing and implementing electric mobility in all modes of transport. EMC is the organizer of the annual EV/VÉ Conference & Trade Show Series.
The technology behind the expertise
For over 25 years, Elmec has always been in the electromechanical industry. Elmec uses his expertise to fulfill their customers’ needs. Recently, they designed a new concept named CANMobile2. With the use of reliable wireless bridges, it is possible to operate, control, monitor and troubleshoot any mobile equipment remotely with ease. All the needed controls are located on a digital dashboard that can be visualized on multiple devices like tablets, smart phones or laptops. Also, Elmec wants to be a leader in the Electrical Vehicle Charging System industry for the residential, commercial and industrial segments. Eluminocity provides IoT solutions for smart city and smart grid applications. The focus of the solution-set is the street light, with products including a high-efficiency LED luminaire, a Sensor Hub, a communications module and an electric vehicle charger. Our exhibit will include all of these products and you will see how the light pole can then become the nucleus for other IoT solutions and innumerable sensing options, run on edge computing apps.

Innovative Vehicle Institute
Consolidating expertise and cutting-edge equipment, the Innovative Vehicle Institute is at the heart of the electric vehicle ecosystem. Its mandate is to support companies towards innovation through applied research, technical assistance, training and information whose purpose is to reduce transportation’s environmental impact. The IVI is an incorporated NPO, with a status of Technology Access Center and is supported by the Natural Sciences and Engineering Research of Canada (NSERC) and the Government of Quebec.
The Electric Circuit
The Electric Circuit, the largest public charging network in Québec, has come to Ontario. In early 2017, the Electric Circuit began rolling out a fast-charge corridor between Québec and the Ottawa area as part of the Electric Vehicle Chargers Ontario (EVCO) program. This corridor offers 14 fast-charge stations and 7 standard stations along Highways 401, 416, 417, Route 17 and in Ottawa. The Electric Circuit comprises more than 800 public charging stations in Québec and Ontario, including over 75 fast-charge stations.
