Majority of Canada’s Most Fuel Efficient Cars in 2014 Are Electric and Hybrid

Twelve of the 16 cars identified by Natural Resources Canada as the most fuel-efficient in the 2014 model year were electric and hybrid vehicles. NRC assumed the cars were driven 20,000 km (55% city, 45% highway).
