10th anniversary of the Electric Circuit: Achievements and future outlook
Featuring:
France Lampron, Director – Mobility, Hydro Quebec
Daniel Breton, President and CEO, Electric Mobility Canada.
Date: Thursday, April 21, 2022, from 12:15 to 1:00 p.m.
The Electric Circuit, now one of the largest and most reliable public charging networks for electric vehicles in North America, was launched in 2012 with an initial batch of 34 charging stations in service. At that time, there were only about 600 electric vehicles (EVs) on Quebec roads. Today, 10 years later, there are more than 130,000 EVs throughout the province. Quebec’s EV drivers and visitors can count on the 3,400 charging stations of the Electric Circuit, which serve all regions of Quebec.
In a conversational style webinar, Daniel Breton and France Lampron will discuss the achievements of the Electric Circuit from its inception to the present day, as well as future projects such as the arrival of more powerful charging stations, the development of new superstations, the testing of new technologies, network interoperability and solutions for EV drivers who live in apartments without access to home charging. Following the conversation, there will be time for questions from the audience.
